@PaineX2, sorry but Aliens can't become Spellcasters. ☹️ Neither can Mermaids or Vampires. I think the one exception is if your Sim is a Spellcaster and then dies and becomes a playable ghost, they still have the ability to be Spellcasters, if I remember the ROM Developer's Livestream. 🤔

As for why they would give you the options when you create them... they give you the option to be either an Alien, a Spellcaster, A Vampire, A Mermaid , or a regular Human Sim. They don't give you the option to make one Sim both. Unless I'm not understanding what you are asking? 🤔

@PugLove888 the only way I have found to make mixed occult Sims is by having say a vampire and a spellcaster get married and have children those children will be both I have done it with vampires and spell casters and I just did it with an alien on a spell caster... The only downfall to the alien spellcasters is when you switch to their disguise it randomizes their creation so if you want your sim to look the same you can't switch him out because there is no edit for their disguise but there is for the vampire mix-ins and spell casters the cool thing though is if you mix up an alien with a spellcaster they have alien abilities alien Create a Sim but yet they have a gem in their inventory at the age of a teen and have the stat bar of a spellcaster with perks in a Spellbook unlike with vampire spellcaster Sims they have a vampire Stop Bar and vampire ability perks but they can cast spells and everything else it's pretty cool because they don't have a meter they can't overheat LMAO I've been playing Sims since 2006 LOL
