- bobbyneko6 years agoNot applicable@crinrict Hi, I received no offers or any indication of an advancement in a career until I manually started searching for a job through the phone.
Do you think I would have needed to be part of the career first, then quit for uni, then reapply for the degree to be effective? How was it offered to you? - crinrict6 years agoHero+@bobbyneko I found it through the phone. Just further down the list.
I don't think you need to be in the career first, the degree should give you the advancement.
Does your Sim have the degree showing in the Simology tab ? - bobbyneko6 years agoNot applicable@crinrict THERE IT IS!!!!! Thank you so much! I had no idea it would show up like that AND still give the base career option.
I strongly appreciate your help on this!! - crinrict6 years agoHero+@bobbyneko Guess you can also start over if you want to :D
For me it's probably not there cause she was already higher up before. Moving this to General Discussion. - IrisuChan5 years agoNew Ace
hello all 🙂 I have a similar issue, could you perhaps help? My sim graduated with a communications degree (grade B), but when getting a job in business, the only offer is as a mailroom technician which I believe is entry level. I checked through the computer and phone, but cannot find a higher entry level. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance!
UPDATE:
I found it! Rather than grouped under the business career, "management" branch is now listed as a separate career! I didn't know this. It seems a bit illogical, but it works. 🙂
