Missing "Purchase Book" option & broken Vampire interactions

I am experiencing two major game-breaking bugs in my game right now

 

Vampire Interaction Issues My Sims cannot mix plasma drinks, and all interactions related to Vampires/Mixology are completely broken.

 

Broken Purchase Menu The Purchase Book option on bookshelves and computers now only displays books that my Sim already owns. The rest of the standard book catalog (skill books, novels, etc.) is completely missing from the shop interface

 

When did this start? The Vampire issue started first. Later, I used an in-game cheat code once to cure a Sim's vampirism. Shortly after that, My Sims cannot mix plasma drinks, and all interactions related to Vampires/Mixology then the Purchase Book interaction completely broken. 

 

What I have already tried (and did NOT work):

 

Repairing the game: I ran the "Repair" option via the EA Application, but it did not fix either issue.

 

Full Reinstall: I completely uninstalled and reinstalled The Sims 4, but the problems persist.

 

Has anyone encountered this specific interface disappearance or found a fix to restore the book purchasing option and Vampire scripts? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    new update, I found out that I cannot craft items because the game claims I don't have supplies (even when they are right in my inventory)

    Ashtler​  From what you've said, it is most likely something unique to that save.  So, to narrow it down further and be sure, does it happen in a new save without mods and CC?

    Ashtler​ ,  CGrant56​  Hi. I don't mean to interrupt, but there's a bug report regarding the issue where skill books aren't being purchased and parts and ingredients in the inventory aren't being recognized. Since trying a clean user folder didn't work, please read the bug report below and vote if it matches what you're experiencing. If not, I think it's best to continue getting advice in this thread.

    Regarding the vampire issue, please provide more details. For example, is it only the bar counters your vampires can't interact with? Are they unable to interact with other objects as well? Also, are they unable to interact with all bar counters, or only specific ones? Please let us know the results of your tests here.

    Hi

    About the books I might experience the same bug.

    and I just tested a completely brand-new save file with a newly created, normal Sim. Even in this completely fresh world, the new Sim is still unable to mix any drinks related to the Vampire pack. Or is it possible that ingredients in the inventory aren't being recognized?
