Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.
If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.
What does the mods have to do with the greyed out buttons? I tried starting a new game and it's still doing it
@Dysipl You posted in the forum for Mod & CC Issues. Have you tested without mods? Drag the Mods folder to the desktop, delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving.
I didn't realise that I posted in mods, I meant to just post in general because I don't think the issue I'm having is a mod issue
@Dysipl Have you tested without mods? If not, please do so now. You don't need to save your progress, but it's important to establish whether one or more mods are the issue here.
