Sorry, we were typing at the same time. To get Thorne back to his family, just move him back via Manage Household. If you want him back to the way things were before he died, you'll need to have him remarry Octavia because the marriage ended at his death, and she should be showing as a widow. He will have lost his job too, so you'll need to give him a career too. If he had anything in his inventory it should be in the household inventory but that can be hit or miss. Sometimes you lose everything. But he will still have things like completed aspirations still complete, skills will be at the same level, etc. Job and marriage are the big two things that have to be set right again but that's up to you.
