Re: Enter each other’s Sims game
@Laurarayxxx, while I like the idea of limiting who you can interact with in your game (by only accessing friends games or with a password 😎 🙂 ) as opposed to a general online game that is a free-for-all , I don't think EA would implement this into The Sims 4. Like @jpkarlsen stated, the Sims 4 wasn't made to be played with other people or online. While I guess they could do it, I just don't think they would add this feature. What they would more likely do is to either make a stand-alone version that has the features you mentioned, or they might enable these features in the Sims 5 (if they ever make a TS5!) 😉
I think one of the biggest challenges is that in TS4 you can control up to 8 different Sims at a time -- but this would be extremely chaotic if you are playing with someone else who is controlling up to 8 Sims !🤨 It might work better if you could only control 1 or 2 Sims when playing with other people.
I can see how many people might be interested in this, and I do like the idea of more security than an actual online version would give. I think this would especially be nice for people who either have a lot of family members who play the game, or have a lot of real-life friends who play the game.❤️ (But this wouldn't be an option for me since none of my real-life friends play the Sims, and only one relative play it, but they play on the Xbox while I play on my PC! ☹️ ) But I wouldn't hold my breath for EA to add this to TS4. I think if they were to go ahead and do it, it would be in some future version of the game! 😉
Happy Simming! 🥳
