When the CAS filter is used to only show Base Game items it sometimes results in Base Game plus some items from other packs. I often like to create sims only using the base game, but not everything is labeled properly. Also some outfits disappear. They usually reappear when there is a new update, but only briefly.

Hi. I’m sorry it took me so long to reply. The missing CAS items are now showing after the latest update. There were over 100 items from many packs. I also have all of the packs so I couldn’t specify them. I have not been using any mods or custom content. The new issue is those items are now highlighted and when you hover over them a text box that reads “From” is there. I am not using mods or custom content right now.
ChristieLovejoy Some things from later packs will show up in CAS when you use the base game only filter are swatches (recolors) added to base game items later on as the packs were released. One of the first that I remember is the shirt Knox wears out of the box in Eco Lifestyle. There have been others from other packs, but I don't know how many others there are, but I don't think it has been anywhere near 100. And if you do use CC in the future, you will find that a lot of CC uses base game items as the base for the CC they create so those items will also show up when you use a base game only filter.

The 100 items in CAS that were missing had a yellow star as though they were just added to the game and I hadn’t used them before. Thank you for replying.
My apologies. For some reason all of the locked CAS items appear unlocked in CAS after I update the game. I even see items that are only available during gameplay like the military outfits from Strangerville. The second time I access the game after an update those items are locked again. It seems like items were missing when those items weren’t supposed to be available in CAS.

After this new update all of the missing items from many packs and kits (I have all of the packs and kits) are appearing with stars (indicating a new install when it's not). When you hover over them the word "From" appears. Some of the items don't have stars but they are highlighted. I've included pictures of just some of the items that are now appearing back in my game. I'm going to check build/buy next.
