Thank you @Psychotps and @jpkarlsen ! Yeah, I was wondering why I had never seen this happen before, at least not to my memory, after 1,250 hrs of gameplay 😃

But I'm also trying an approach I hadn't before because even after all this gameplay, the romance attraction system is still either too subtle to detect or it doesn't exist. I wanted to start the relationship with very little in the friendship bar to take yet another very close look at the speed at which romance accumulates with various other Sims. But I think it's the Incredibly Friendly trait. I had just played a Sim who was greeting people with the not-Parenthood greetings and getting the result I wanted and sure enough. I haven't used the non-Parenthood greetings in a super long time, basically, and thought the Parenthood Greeting was stacking with Incredibly Friendly, but now I know it does not.

Thank you so much for your help and answers!! I don't think there is a way to un-buy a trait once you have it without wiping them all with a cheat and buying them again (I don't know much about cheats. :P ) I'll just use MCCC (Thanks so much for the heads up on that too, Psychotps!!) and cheat the relationship down to the level I want to continue my romance experiment.
