Glad it worked, You can buy a Retail Store, Restaurant and Vet Clinic at the moment, yes sims just 'populate it' when you choose to 'visit' the bowling alley with your sims.. If you do set it up as a Retail Store, just not sure how the 'Bowling Alley' would function.. possibly not as well (staff etc) There are also a few ways to 'get people there' 1: Throwing a party does ask you 'where you want to hold the party' and is created via the phone menu..by 'plan social event'.

2: Start a Club, either have your bowling alley as the new 'club gathering' spot for all the time, or don't make a club venue, and choose it sometimes. (Clubs came with the Get Together Expansion pack)

3: Even putting a water slide there, can get more people over, just by clicking on it.. lol, I do that randomly sometimes.. instant people!
