Re: How to get Sims to stop cheating/flirting with other Sims

Is there any way to get my married/couples Sims to stop accepting and reciprocating flirting from Sims other than their partner?? I keep having Sims accidentally cheat on each other bc a good friend randomly flirted with them and they'll accept it and reciprocate it. This happens with all of my couples even if I monitor it. The game mechanics seem to completely ignore relationship statuses now

@KhanistavvHonestly, the only way I know of to limit this behavior is with mods. This is something that has frustrated a lot of players for a long time (myself included), and it's definitely an aspect of the game that could benefit from some tuning, especially for console players unable to use mods.
Personally, I use the Wonderful Whims mod to adjust their relationship autonomy, so if you're a PC/Mac user and are willing to use mods, you can give that a try, or MC Command Center.

@Khanistavv I just tend to make most of my sims loners, asexual, or both. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Other than that, all I can recommend is never socialize if flirty and immediately stop talking to any npc that shows up flirty.
