@nonamp270 You are so welcome! I played Sims 1, 2, and 3 (though I did not play 3 much and didn't love it like I did the others) to the point of potential addiction 🙂 - and yes, a lot has changed! Please feel free to ask questions if you get stuck. That's what we're here for. Sims 4 is really cool and has so much to it. I think you'll love it!

@nonamp270 Another helper just went through the tutorial via the chef aspiration. She did find that there didn't seem to be a part of the tutorial that required just mixology - but it does ask for 'prepare food/mix drinks'. Also, please note that on the first day of the tutorial it may give those requirements even though you're not allowed to do food prep until the 2nd day. So... sounds like if you wait for the 2nd day you should be able to do food prep in your kitchen to cover this requirement. That may be the simpler way to go.

Did you ever find a solution to this? I am currently stuck in this part of the tutorial. I'm wondering if I should end the tutorial and figure out the rest as I go. 

@CobwebTheBun , you could end the tutorial if you want, but If you continue with it just do what @SheriGR suggested doing in the post above that is marked as the Answer (the one with black circle and a green check mark). 🙂 She suggested to go to Map view and travel to a library and from there to use the computer to purchase the Mixology skill book Vol. 1.  This way you don't have to go to Buy/Build Mode to purchase a computer since the tutorial won't let you.  Please read her post for more detailed instructions! 😉

@CobwebTheBun I'm sorry about that.😔  It has been a couple years since I played the tutorial, and then only because it was new and I wanted to see what it was like, even though I had already been playing the game for years!  🤭

I will see what I can find.  But if you don't feel like waiting for a reply from either myself or someone else, you don't have to do the tutorial in order to play the game.  The game originally was set up without one and instead had a "lesson book" in the game covering various details that could help a new player. 
To find the Lessons do the following:
Click on the Options button in the upper right corner (looks like 3 dots)
Choose Lessons from the list.
Then just choose which aspect of the game you want to know about!  It will not help you with the tutorial though! 😅

Alternatly, you can always ask us here for help! 😉 Most of us are only volunteers (like myself).  But this section of AHQ used to be called Gameplay Help and we still love to help people with gameplay issues when we can! 🥰

But there still might be a solution if you want to continue with the Tutorial.  I just will have to see what I can find. 🤞
