I did not. I honestly haven't tried to purchase the trait with another male sim because bi don't want to but in the effort for the rewards points.
He isn't a a teen, is an adult. I was thinking maybe it was because he's male, but have read several threads stating both sims had the trait, so I wasn't sure if it was an update that disallowed for the male sims to purchase the trait or what.
Either way as of today I still cannot purchase the trait, and am unsure of why.

@Shaynasaur59 what's the reason you get if you hover over the fertility trait (the greyed out icon itself)

Looks like this:

@Shaynasaur59 you're not hovering over the right trait though. That's hardly hungry.
I really don't know how it works on console but you need to get the tool tip for this.

Lol yeah I'm aware I'm not hovering over the right one, I wanted to be able to show that it was grayed out.
What are tool tips?
- crinrict5 years agoHero+@Shaynasaur59 text that appears if you hover over something. Is that not a thing on console ? It would be good to know WHY it's greyed out. On PC it tells you if you move your cursor over the icon
tagging @PoptartJuniper to see if there's a way to do that on console - PoptartJuniper5 years agoHero (Retired)
@crinrict @Shaynasaur59 You just need to move the cursor up to the fertile trait where it's greyed out, as you did for the hardly hungry. Tooltips are on console also.

Okay peeps so this is what it looks like when I hover over the trait, which isn't any different then when I hover over it for a sim I can buy the trait for? He's a vampire but my other lady vampire has the trait. Imma just really confused

@Shaynasaur59 As far as I can recall, you may not purchase the fertile reward when you have switched off both pregnancy options (as seen in my screenshot below) on your Sim. Check out the options in CAS by clicking on a mirror "Change Sim" ➡ click【・・・】beneath the gender selector ♂ ♀ ➡ click either "Sim will be able to..." ➡ "Become pregnant" or "Get others pregnant". Hope this helps.
- crinrict5 years agoHero+@Shaynasaur59 that's the explanation for the trait itself. go more to the right to the actual grey out icon as shown in the picture I posted

Ah okay. I apologize for my lack of knowledge. I am not a simmer for game play, but for build

The ps4 doesn't allow me to move my curser over to the grayed out area. It only allows me to highlight it and click x to confirm, but in this situation I can't confirm cause it's not available. It only highlights the one you want to buy in green. If there's another way please let me know.
I will test on another male sims and get back with you all.
- PoptartJuniper5 years agoHero (Retired)@Shaynasaur59 Do you happen to have a mouse that you can plug in to your console and try to click the greyed out icon to see if something else pops up when directly hovering over the icon with a mouse?
- Shaynasaur595 years agoNot applicable
Yeah, I'll try that when I get home.
- crinrict5 years agoHero+@Shaynasaur59 Have you been able to solve this ?
- crinrict5 years agoHero+@Shaynasaur59 Moving this to General Discussion for further help if needed.
