Re: In the Sims 4 Seasons Gift Giving doesnt work for me

Lately I noticed that my game has been beyond glitchy and multiple holiday interactions haven't been showing up (make resolution on new years) and now give gift isn't showing up. I took a picture of the social menu where I assume it would be and it's not there. I am beyond frustrated as I had my sim buy his gf a really expensive camera and now I can't even gift it. :/

@peoplepersone, and @maichele22, that is troubling that both of you have this problem and that for one of you it seems to be getting worse! 😮☹️

By any chance do either of you use Mods/Custom Content (CC)? 🤔  If you do, then you can temporarily remove it to test your game to see if that helps.  If it does, then you know that the problem is outdated CC/Mods.  If it doesn't help, then you know that we need to consider something else as the root of y'all's  problem. 😉

Mods and CC become outdated anytime EA makes a patch for the game because they can't make the patch around all the CC that exists.  That is up to the makers of the CC and Mods to keep theirs up to date!  Some makers are better at updating their items than others.

If you don't use Mods/CC or if removing your Mods folder doesn't fix the problem, then you can try repairing your game through Origin.  Sometimes that helps with problems! 🙂

I’m having this problem too I simply just don’t have the interaction? Well at least I don’t think I do. I have looked through the friendly category but can’t find it.

@ava06955, I don't know if you read any of the posts above this one, so I have to ask if you have any Mods or Custom Content (CC) in your game? 🤔  If you do, you will have to temporarily remove your Mods folder to see if this is the problem. 😇
