In the Sims 4 Seasons Gift Giving doesnt work for me
In the Sims 4 Seasons it is suppose to give you the option to give a gift anytime but the interaction doesnt show up does anyone know how to fix this

@maichele22, I've only tried to give a gift during the holidays, so I will have to see what happens (or doesn't happen) when it is a regular day. 😉 I didn't have any problems with giving gifts on holidays, though. 🤨
Update: I just tried it out on a regular day and since I had nothing in my inventory I couldn't give a regular gift … but I was able to give a cash gift of Simoleans (it lets you choose between about 5 amounts.) I guess you had a hard time finding the interaction? 🤔 It should be under Friendly actions. If you have items in your inventory you can give some of those. Fossils, flowers, frogs, gemstones, books, earbuds, etc. Sometimes they won't like the gift you give (especially if its cheap), but other times they really like the gift.

Lately I noticed that my game has been beyond glitchy and multiple holiday interactions haven't been showing up (make resolution on new years) and now give gift isn't showing up. I took a picture of the social menu where I assume it would be and it's not there. I am beyond frustrated as I had my sim buy his gf a really expensive camera and now I can't even gift it. :/
@peoplepersone, and @maichele22, that is troubling that both of you have this problem and that for one of you it seems to be getting worse! 😮☹️
By any chance do either of you use Mods/Custom Content (CC)? 🤔 If you do, then you can temporarily remove it to test your game to see if that helps. If it does, then you know that the problem is outdated CC/Mods. If it doesn't help, then you know that we need to consider something else as the root of y'all's problem. 😉
Mods and CC become outdated anytime EA makes a patch for the game because they can't make the patch around all the CC that exists. That is up to the makers of the CC and Mods to keep theirs up to date! Some makers are better at updating their items than others.
If you don't use Mods/CC or if removing your Mods folder doesn't fix the problem, then you can try repairing your game through Origin. Sometimes that helps with problems! 🙂
