@Wilder_King50 I've had many funky things happen when I use platforms closer than one tile to an outer wall. This may be more complicate also if it's a basement. Just thought I'd mention this. However, in your case I found that if I clicked the wall on each of the two areas that are missing a ceiling in the basement as follows, and then, from the main floor level while still selected I clicked the yellow 'build ceiling' line, the ceiling did fill in in those two areas.
