Re: Married couple won’t sleep in the same bed

I made them and marked them as married in create a Sim.

I've never had this problem before.

The moment they moved in they couldn't share a bed.

The left right thing doesn't matter, they both just sleep on the same side for some reason.

They don't sleep in the bed when the other person is in the bed.

They can't woohoo in the bed. They have to woohoo in a bush like animals.

I've tried 3 different beds.

I don't have any CC's or mods.

I have most expansions. I just brought University and Tiny house before I started this play through.

Their relationship is 100 for everything. They've never had an affair.

They're brand new married some dude.this shouldn't be happening.

I've restarted the game. I've updated the game. I've repaired the game in origin.

@KasualLeigh1 Thank you for the information. It is very helpful. I have a few questions/ things I would like you to try and let me know what happens.
Can you direct each of them to nap on each side of the bed successfully (where they actually do it)?
Did you try moving the bed in the middle of a room with nothing around it?
It is unusual that they are both sleeping only on one side of the bed. Please hover over the bed to make sure the bed assignment 'took' (it should show a pop-up that shows them each assigned a side).
Can you please take a screenshot of the bed, preferably with this hover-assignment pop-up showing?
Please go to the world/town view mode and enter 'Manage Households'. Please save this household to your library 'Manage Households'. Now go to the Main Menu and start a new save. In this new save place this couple from your library into a pre-made/default home there. Assign them each a side on the double bed in the home. Hover over the bed to make sure the bed assignment 'took' (it should show a pop-up that shows them each assigned a side). Their relationship will come in from the library at 50% in romance and relationship. Have them do interactions to raise it a bit. Then see if when you click on the bed and direct them to 'WooHoo' that they will do so.

@KasualLeigh1, Thank you so much for clarifying what is going on in your game and what you have tried so far! in addition to what @SheriGR suggested, you can also try:
1) see if they can sleep together in another house (like on vacation), or as a last resort you can try moving them to another house.
2) paly another couple in another house to see if they have the same problem
3) play another Save Game file to see if the problem is just with that particular save.

I know I’m 6 years too late and you’ve most likely figured it out by now. I thought I’d still leave my suggestion for anyone who comes across this forum as did I ………. I found that most times when a couple won’t sleep in the same bed together (without having any conflict such as an affair) it’s either the bed is not assigned to them and or someone is sleeping on the side that is assigned to them OR something is probably blocking the way of your SIM to where they feel like they can’t get to the bed. I had a married couple that would sleep together one day after being happily married for a while….. it was a big teddy bear in the way. Once I moved it …. WOOOOHOOOOO/// hope this helps :)
