@PixieNyx92  In this case, I believe, the bonus content should be separate code. At least that was the case for me when I bought the last three EPs through Czech internet store Alza. The code for the game was in the retail box and the code for the bonus content was given to me separately through Alza's in-store library. That tells me the game will not give you the bonus items even if you activate the game code in the "pre-order" window. Purchasing through online apps like EA App, or Steam should do that, but codes purchased elsewhere obviously will not and you need separate code for the bonus items.

I bought Lovestruck and Life & Death on instant gaming.com. I got the bonus items figured out for Life and Death but not Lovestruck. I talked to the site I got the packs from and they said EA didn’t send the right codes. I ordered before the deadline for the bonus items. But since the deadline has pasted only EA can fix the mistake.
