The furniture stays at the house unless you put it in your household inventory and you receive money for it.

Do you mean you want to not get money for it ?

@crinrict No I could've sworn that the furniture gets deleted from the house as well when I move and sell the furniture. But I don't remember anymore.. I posted this a while ago, lol. I never saw your reply until just now, I'm sorry.

It's pretty easy to miss that option. I have a couple of times and been pretty ticked at myself cause then I have to clean out the house inventory in buy mode. It take a bit of time depending on the size of the house. Much easier to sell it so it stays in that house for new buyers in the future.

@Kimo0wW There is a bug where the lot gets emptied out if all NPCs die but when you move, just choose the right option and the furniture should stay.
