@Winner200049, some Sim Gurus have discussed in the past the possibility of including disabilities in the Sims 4. A lot of people have asked for it. It is only natural to want to make a Sim like yourself or your loved ones! ❤️ But the problem is that there are soooo many disabilities out there that it becomes difficult to sort through them to decide which to include.🤔 Some want hearing aids (like you suggested), others want wheelchairs, and others want canes for the blind as well as seeing eye dogs. And yet others want Sign Language, missing limbs, asthma, crutches, epilepsy, and more. No matter how many of these EA would include, there will always be people who will be upset because their disability wasn't included. 😢 So, in an effort to make more people feel included, EA could end up making more people feel left out! 😞 There are also some people with disabilities who don't want them in the game because they play the Sims to escape from the daily hassles that come from living with a disability. And if EA were to include some of them, they would have to make sure they would be done in a tasteful way! 😇
Fortunately, a hearing aid might be more easy to mimic in the game. 😉 (Certainly more easy to mimic than a wheelchair would be.) There might be a hearing aid Mod or Custom Content (CC) on online somewhere that would allow this. Or perhaps you can find some sort of earing, earplug, or headphone that would work. You do have to do some upkeep if you want to use CC, and especially if you want to use Mods. (I'm too lazy to keep up with them, so I don't use them ! 😳 ) Most of the problems come when EA releases a patch to update the game, because this can make a lot of Mods and even some CC out of date and they can then mess up your game until the people who created them update them to work with EA's updates!
Aside from that, there is a headset/microphone from the Get Famous EP that is found in the Earrings section of CAS. While it doesn't really look like any hearing aid I've ever seen because of the microphone and the color, it might work for you as one with a bit of imagination! 🥳 You would have to purchase Get Famous if you don't already have that pack, but at least you wouldn't have to worry about dealing with CC/Mods if you didn't want to try those out!
