Re: Please Sir/Madam, stop using my bathtub!

@LadyAofPineapple it's a while since I used butlers properly in my game because I kept getting elders who just didn't do much and complained about their bad backs even more than I do, seriously I was yelling at the screen "here, take my heat patch and stop your whining".

But, in the houses where they were I created separate ensuites for each Sim, including for the parents who got one each, leading from the master bedroom so they didn't share. Then I locked each bathroom door and attached bedroom door for that individual. I had to do it for Sims using the wrong wash basins too recently as everyone was walking in on everyone else. I also placed a couple of regular bathrooms for guests (and because it was about 5 storeys high). The ensuites obviously couldn't be cleaned by staff but as they were rich I just replaced stuff in BB mode when it got dirty, because...champagne problems!

I also found that they didn't really use their quarters. I'd make a self contained apartment with a little kitchen and everything but they were not appreciative. I mean, it was in the sub basement next to the home cinema and the vault but still that's just ungrateful.

@simsplayer818 I had an adult butler who was amazing but she sadly died while repairing a radio. So then this retiree shows up...he's no Alfred to my Batman, that's for sure! lol

I've tried messing with the door locks but it seems to be wonky at times. I've had people somehow wander in (they were not en route when I locked it so I don't know how that happened) and promptly get locked in. I've also had the kids get locked in if the adult brings them in for a bath. I've also had the doors get unlocked for no reason whatsoever if I've left the lot or perhaps the moon cycle is just right, I'm not really sure.

@ReneHollyDesign1 I'd have to check the price, however, the homemade tub was the one EVERYONE flocked to in their old house, so I figured maybe the butler would also? NOPE hhahaha

And related to this, I've had to change the treehouse enclosure to be "no adults" since the new butler kept going in there to sleep instead of his bed. I just can't win 😉

I'm still having tons of fun, but I just don't want to micromanage to this degree, you know?

@LadyAofPineapple I've had the door lock issue too, especially with the welcome wagon/if there's been a crime scene there previously and witnesses haven't left yet/if it's in Sulani. That's why I put them behind 2 locked doors hoping that would keep them out. I don't know why it happens and I just think "here buddy how did you get in there, what a cheek, off you pop now."
Computers do the same thing, it bugs me (pun intended).
