Re: Rite of Dissolution then Rite of Ascension - Witch Progress?

@elsathehobo, I tested this and I found that everything stays the same except that the spellcaster perks will need to be reset, although you retain all your perk points!  I used Darrel Charm as a test and he kept his Spellcaster level (Adept) and he had 8 perk points … I just had to remember which perks he had originally if I wanted him to be as he was before I had his magic powers taken away.  He also kept the spells he had learned. You will have to wait about a day before your Sim can receive the Rite of Ascension.  The only drawback for me was that Darrell lost his hair immediately on becoming a normal Sim again! 😃

I do not know if becoming a Vampire and then reverting back to a normal Sim is working as it should though.😞  I remember others talking about how they have cured their Vampires but some of the effects remain.  One of them was they were having trouble becoming a Spellcaster, even though their Sim was no longer a Vampire. ☹️ You might want to wait and look and see what you can find on this bug before trying to de-magic your Spellcaster, become a Vampire, cure your Vampire and re-magic your Spellcaster! 🤨  I will see if I can find out if this is still a bug or not! 🤞

Here is a pic of Darrel with out his hair... he was just made normal with the Rite of Dissolution.
