Re: Sim can't have more than one best friend.

It has always been this way by design, so this is feedback rather than a bug.

I can see where this is coming from because you can declare multiple boyfriends and girlfriends at the same time.

But as a counter I'd class it kinda like the marriage option - you can't have multiple spouses. You can only have one "best" friend by definition because "best" = THE best = only one. So in my opinion this is not illogical.

The game already at least has "Good friend" which is better than just regular friend and what I'd equate with the real life having multiple really close friends...

There are a few alternative options available as well, like how high mischief sims can delcare someone as their "Partner in Crime".

I am just astonished how modders work harder than the people that are actually getting paid. No, I am not saying I don't enjoy the game but they surely could do a better job other than updating small things and giving less content than they did with Sims 3.

What I don't understand is why every sim that reaches a certain friendship level with your sim, asks to be your best friend. If you already have one and say 'no', then they get sad and friendship level drops. And why the seemingly harsh response choice: "no way"?! That's just mean. I'd rather say something along the lines of "hey, you're a really good friend that I don't want to lose, but I have a best friend already".

I know this is an old post, but I do hope it still gets an answer of some sort.
