Wants and fears

Okay, a few issues here. My Sim has one of those urgent wants, to discuss her fear of death. It says to click on a ghost or elderly Sim and select Discuss Fears in the Friendly  category. "Sim"ple, right? Only the option never appears.  Ever. No matter how good of friends we are. I heard somewhere that you had to do it after fulfilling a Want. That hasn't worked either. On the subject of Wants, the same Sim wants to drink a glass of nectar. I wad my other Sim make some, place it in the world, and then the first Sim put the bottle in her inventory,  poured a serving, and drank it. The want is still there, after multiple glasses. Good thing she can't get drunk on the stuff. Meaning, my other Sim just needs to chat with death about grilled cheese. I can't get him to show up. I've tried offing several npcs, and they just vanish, or it doesn't work at all. The one time I got the killer rabbit to attack, it got the Sim that was trying to finish the aspiration, instead of the npc I had clicked on. That's basically my current situation. I've used debug to clear actions in the queue, but how do you clear wants?

    The drink a glass of nectar want can be done with bar drinks that look like glasses of wine, either make one at the bar or order one from a venue/restaurant, my snobby sim gets that want alot lol

    Death can be summoned on your lot if you have the grimmaphone item from one of in game events, (the reaper rewards event) if you did that one. Other way to get him to spawn is to invite a random sim to your lot and then find a way to off them, Grimm usually turns up more often than not when there's a death on your home lot. 

    Sometimes the discuss fear of death conversation option shows up in the main pie menu options rather than in the friendly menu, happened to me a few times, and I'm not 100% sure but I think your sim has to have the fear 'active' for that option to show up, I had alot of trouble clearing the scared of the dark fear my sims kid had after seeing a monster under the bed, and took him outside when he had the moodlet as his first one so he was scared at the time and it checked off 🙂
