Re: Sims in retail store just talk

It's part of the general obsession with "chat." There was a patch at some point that made all Sims obsessed with idle chat. If they don't have actions queued they'll walk up to random people on the street and "chat." They learn nothing about the other person, they're not even properly introduced, they just "chat." Sometimes they walk up to a celebrity and "chat" and I can't introduce them to the celebrity, so if I try to intervene it's over.

I just let my retail stores do their thing and ring people up when they're ready.
