It sounded like they finally fixed the marriage bug that would show the "Marrying a sim in your employ would be inappropriate." Unfortunately it did not fix it.
Now I have 2 sad Sims... with 2 sad kids... and a sad dog... They have to go to counseling now.. Thanks EA
If the sim is indeed employed by your sim then they still can not get married.
