Is your sim a child? Or do you have any mods in your game? 🙂
Children can play piano and violin but not guitar (for some reason).

And it needs to be a kids violin.
No it's adults. I've tried it with all my adults in the house (8) and it doesn't let me play it. I do have mods, but I have taken out all music related mods. Could it be something else ? Thank you for replying.
It could easily be one of the other mods so remove all and test.
