@bev6usa If the dog is showing bugs along with the green fumes, he's sick. Have your Sim take him to the vet. While you're there, you can purchase several 'wellness treats' from the vet's vending machine to keep in your Sim's personal inventory. If the Sim has a wellness treat in their personal inventory, next time your dog is sick you can command them to feed the wellness treat to the pet. Doing this will cure most pet illnesses.

(Tip: If you put these treats on a shelf or household inventory to be dragged into the personal inventory of another household Sim, you have more than one Sim in the household (in case you need to drag it into the inventory of a different Sim while that Sim is gone.)
