Re: Why my sims won't go inside the house I made for them???

@Logiebug2, there could be something blocking their path.  If the house is on a foundation, are there steps that allow them to reach the doors?  Also, if you placed objects inside the home by using the move objects cheat in order to make it look pretty, some of these objects could be blocking your doors from functioning.  (The same can be said for houses that you downloaded from the gallery).  If this is the reason, then you will have to go into Buy/Build Mode and move objects that are near the doors, and maybe even the doors themselves.  😉

Finally, do you play with Mods or Custom Content (CC)?🤔  Whenever EA updates the game, there is a chance that Mods or CC will be affected and become broken.  You would have to temporarily remove your Mods folder to your desktop.  You would also need to delete your localthumbcache.package file in the game folder and fix the game in Origin. Then check your game to see if that helped, and then find the outdated Mod or CC and see if the maker of it has an updated version!

This is the quick explanation, and is also why I don't play with Mods/CC! 🤨

Please update us on happens after you try these suggestions!

Best of luck and Happy Simming! 😉

@Logiebug2 Go into build mode and click on any wall in your house. Look for the arrows that point up and down. Click on them and use your mouse to change the height of the house. Ensure it is even with the ground. I had to do this last night because my Sims were stuck outside in the rain after moving into a new house. You're welcome.
