Royalty vs uni

Hi! I have a strange problem with the game. I bought a new Royalty expansion pack and started to play. I created a sim that was a normal one, in high school she found and read a book about dynasty and it turned out her uncle or something was a royalty. So I chose and she started career as a royal. When she turned adulthood I was trying to sing her for university (I chose 4 semesters history) and when I accepted her royal career vanished and she became a footballer. I tried it 2 times and every time it cancelled her royal career. I don’t understand why , does anyone had the same problem?
