Reaping Career - Laughing Disaster

Hi, I'm having an issue with the "Laughing Disaster" mission of the Reaping career.

4 sims have died at a comedy club but I'm only able to reach 2 of them due the the placement of the bodies amongst the tables and chairs in the venue. My sim can walk up to them but doesn't have the necessary space to Reap them.

I've tried using the freebuild cheat to move the furniture but it's still greyed out and a text box pops up to say "you cannot do this while a sim is dying"

Any advice?
