Relationship Bar Frozen

Yesterday and today, my sims friendly relationship bar will not go up. I do not understand why because my romantic bar will. I have tried repairing the game through the EA app, checked my mods, which are all fine, so it must be an in-game glitch. I spoke to another simmer who has had the same issue. This needs to be solved as it just ruins gameplay for me, despite the rest of the game working fine.
