@simsplayer818 Yas! I agree; And to think, having a Scottish pack would mean a homage to Robert Burns, St Andrew's Day and tradition Scottish dress for men, women and children Sims and their pets. Oh there's already 2 Scottish dog breeds included with cats and dogs so that's awesome right?

While I’d also love to see more food variety in game, in the meantime if you use mods I recommend checking out Littlbowbub. Holiday drinks and desserts and a variety of excellent meals and even fast food and cake deliveries.
- Sithprincess113 years agoSeasoned Traveler@PipMenace To be honest, I play on console, I can't use mods. Console versions won't allow mods.
But a special kit or game pack with new culture foods and festivals is a must - GiardiniDiMarzo3 years agoLegendI know my cuisine is largely represented, but I'd really like to see 2 holiday season desserts typical of Italy, Panettone and Pandoro.
- Sithprincess113 years agoSeasoned Traveler@GiardiniDiMarzo Now I agree with you as well, what does Pandoro taste like? I'd like to see some Scottish cuisine. But the only Scottish things I see are the Tam O Shanter, and the West Highland White terrier and Scottish terrier. Some new music options, Scottish bagpipe music and folk music

Pandoro has a sweet flavor with vanilla aroma; the texture is soft, more crumbly than elastic with a brown but very thin and soft crust. Its taste is enhanced when filled with mascarpone cream.
Panettone, on the other hand, is richer because raisins and candied fruit are added to the dough, and it is also leavened and baked differently. It is my favorite of the two.
- simsplayer8183 years agoHero@GiardiniDiMarzo I want a Pandoro all to myself now! I knew Panettone but I'd never seen Pandoro before. I think it would be perfect for the Sims.
- Sithprincess113 years agoSeasoned Traveler@simsplayer818 Lets petition for a free Scottish/world cuisine Sims four pack
- simsplayer8183 years agoHero@Sithprincess11 I've been mulling over it for days lol. I've been picturing a pack with a world with all the different aspects it could have, which might be a bit ambitious as maybe a kit would be more realistic. Then I decided in the meantime to try and create my version of a little Sauchiehall Street (ah the memories lol).
Or they could do what they've done in the past with a free cultural drop to coincide with a momentous date like Burn's Night or St Andrew's Day. When they've done that before it's had quite a lot included like the Hispanic Heritage celebration a couple of years ago when we got recipes, furniture and more all added for free. - Sithprincess113 years agoSeasoned Traveler@simsplayer818 I totally agree with you
- Sithprincess113 years agoSeasoned Traveler@simsplayer818 We should be able to ask for those new features in a game or stuff pack or a full free base game update. What do you think
- simsplayer8183 years agoHero@Sithprincess11 I absolutely agree, I hope this thread gets spotted by someone who can pass it to the team or if you're on Twitter (I'm not) perhaps there might be an opportunity to send the suggestion directly to them. Personally I've often said this should be the place for dialogue instead of Twitter but I know it doesn't quite work like that.
I think sometimes the UK representation in a lot of entertainment is very English-centric and not particularly accurate but quite stereotypical. I say that as someone who is English but not from the part that gets the most representation, and when my Geordie culture is represented it's not realistic, I mean, our accent isn't that difficult to understand lol. I'd like to see a representation of all home nations when we are represented instead of just the quaint English cottage trope. Cottage Living looks somewhat like one tiny specific part of the UK I've visited once.
Scottish, Irish, Welsh cultures have so much to offer and should be considered for future culture drops. I'd buy a kit/pack but I know the team have said before that they don't want to be the gatekeepers of cultural content.
There are a lot of other cultures I'd like to see represented that aren't yet too so I hope we see more free drops in the future. Especially as I feel like this year has been the worst year for bugs, I've lost months of gameplay. The culture drops haven't caused problems in my game like the purchased content and updates have done. - Sithprincess113 years agoSeasoned Traveler@simsplayer818 I absolutely agree, with your sentiments there

To be fair, the cottage living world looks a bit like the Yorkshire dales, and kinda puts me in mind of a UK soap opera called Emmerdale
