[request] improve which leftovers to eat or to throw away

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.72.28.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? all
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? cook two different type of food on the same lot with the same or different sims. store the leftovers. try to eat leftovers. can't choose which of the stored food (stew, cake, whatever).
What happens when the bug occurs? i cook two different types of food or another sim comes over and cooks something. i already have food stored in the fridge. i store the new food. now i can't decide whether to eat the old or the new food.
What do you expect to see? be able to choose between which of the 2-3-x foods i stored the fridge i want to eat or to clean/throw
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

I want an option to be able to choose which leftovers I want to eat from all the leftovers stored and to be able to throw one of them or all of them.

    @uc0de If you have an another Sim come over to cook, it often happens that you don't own the food causing issues. When you open the fridge and drag out the food, do you get a message to that extent ? Can you eat it that way ?

    Yes, I can eat the food.

    The problem is, well, I make a stew, I store it, I make a cake, I store it, and when I click eat leftovers, I can't choose which leftovers from both, nor I have an option to throw one and eat the other.

    It's more a feature request than a bug.

    The game already has a system to let you choose which leftovers your Sim eats. Click Open on the refrigerator, which opens the Inventory panel with a section showing what's in the fridge. Click on the food you want to eat and Grab a Serving. You can use the same method to select foods to throw away.

    @Sketch793 This is exactly what I was thinking, it makes no sense to me for to ask you which leftovers you want to eat from the quick menu.

    Yes. But what I want is: 1) Open should be the action of the Get Leftovers button, and it should be a quick window with all the food and just pick one of them (not the full interaction dialog you get in Open Fridge... i.e. put in inventory) 2) there's still no option to throw it, unless spoiled. I just want to empty the fridge even if the food is still good.

    I know I can choose to place food in the world and then throw it but it's just too many steps. I want to click the cake and into the trash it goes, alike to eat it.

    Get leftovers > click on picture of the food (sim already stars eating)

    Empty fridge > click on one picture or all pictures of food (sim starts picking all the food and into the trash can it goes).
