Restaurants not working autonomously in TheSims4.

I am noticing while playing the college student on campus, the students are unable to eat.  The dorms are not autonomously making food for the students.  There are no stoves or kitchens in the dorms. There are no food places on the campuses and the restaurants that I have set up in the game no longer are working autonomously.

Plus there are no computers for them to study by to type their term papers.  What can I do to change this?

  • @Pris3718 Have you been to your campus’s student commons building? There should be computers, robotics, and a cafeteria…
  • Food

You can eat for free at your university's cafeteria, which is located in your university's Commons. That's Darby's Den for the University of Britechester and Larry's Lagoon for Foxbury Institute. You can eat at the other university's cafeteria, too, but you'll have to pay. The cafeterias are limited to meal hours, but that's usually not a problem. You can also buy food from some of the vending stands. Pepper's Pub, the bar in Gibbs Hill, also sells food, and I think it's open around the clock.

There's a grill near the fishing spot behind Darby's Den, where you can cook your own food. There's another grill behind Pepper's Pub, down near the water. After you grill the food, put it in your inventory, then take it to your dorm and put it in a minifridge or refrigerator. You can buy a minifridge, if you need to, from some of the vending stalls.

You can also travel outside of Britechester and get food from other worlds.

    Computers

There are computers at the Laurel Library in Gibbs Hill and at Larry's Lagoon in Foxbury. There are computers at the libraries in other worlds, too, as well as some of the other lots in those worlds.

You can buy laptop computers from some of the vending stalls on campus.

You can add computers to the dorms as long as they are unoccupied, but I don't think you can do that while you are living there, so it has to be done before you move in.
