Roof not appearing

I don't know how this strated but yesterday when I played the sims 4 I was building and when I exited build mode I saw that my roof was missing, in build mode my roof was there but when I went out of build mode it wasnt there. I tried everything to fix this problem, I searched it up on google and found nothing I thought it might be happening because of my cc so I got rid of all of my cc and it still wasnt working. I even deleted my game and redownloded it but it still remained a problem. I downloded the sims 4 from steam which my be the thing causing the problem but when i redownloded the game i downloded it from EA and it still didn't work so i don't know if steam is the problem.

this problem is really ruining my enjoyment of the game so if you could please fix it i'd be really thankful.
