Says sims at home but their not

everything fine with my game until i load the household then my sims profiles in the bottom are kinda grey and it says their at home but their not, ive tried to get them to leave work early like i sa...

    yea its all my household but i just deleted my cc/mods folder nd thier back to normal, this was my 3rd time deleting that folder

Is this happening with just one household, or is it affecting all your households? If just one household, were the sims at work before this issue occurred?
Try moving the whole mods folder to another place, delete the localthumbcache.package and then test to see if the issue remains without mods/cc there.
Clearing the cache files may also help
