Sentiments
Still learning this but it seems you can loose them as well. Does anyone know for sure?

Hi @RavenLure ! Yes, the sentiments will go away in time. When you Open Sim Profile for sims with whom your sim has gained a sentiment, you will see the sentiments displayed with a green color at first for positive sentiments, red for negative sentiments. If there is no continued interaction to boost the sentiment, you'll notice it turn to gray and only half the circle will be filled. Again, with no further interaction, the sentiments will disappear altogether.
But how? With this mean glitch I have a festering grudge against my best friend and I get tense around her. I’ve done a ton of friendly interactions to try and get rid of it but I don’t know how.
