We need more information, so could you please answer following questions?
1-Which platform do you playing on? (PC/Mac, or Console)
2-If you playing PC/Mac, do you have Mods/CC?
3-Did you create the Sim by yourself?
4-And if you created the one, what did you decide the Sexual Preferences?
If you have some pics for checking we can, could you please add them?

I play on a Windows 10 PC. I do have mods, but this problem happens whether or not I have mods on. I created the ancestor of one of my sims with the issue as she is from my legacy family and chose her to be men, not exploring, and men. Another sim I had the same problem with was created by me. His sexuality was women, not exploring, women. While I'm not happy that I cannot choose my own defaults so have to make sure my sims have the sexual preference I want, it's worse when it's always changing.
