@xjaywillie Could you try a clean folder, please? Drag the whole Sims 4 folder to your desktop, start the game, reset your option, and open a new save.
If that works, exit and copy your old save files into the new Saves folder the game made and test one of those.
If that works, you can start testing your mods in batches. Tips on batch testing are here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Mod-CC-Issues/INFO-How-to-Use-Mods-and-CC/m-p/13439356#FiftyFifty
Hi Luth!
Thanks for responding! So I did what you suggested, and tried one save file that I had played within the last few weeks and all seemed well, but then I tried the save file where the glitch originated and it's still there. No mods, no CC, and a fresh Sims 4 folder. So odd!

@xjaywillie Okay, so the next thing to try, then, is a Game Repair.

No luck with the game repair either. Wondering if this save file is just a lost cause?

@xjaywillie That I'm not sure of, but if your sim is a tenant not an owner, this bug report might apply to you (since it's not mods).: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/NEEDS-SAVES-FR-Can-t-Pay-Bills-Rent-Tenant/m-p/13291544
For any other help with this save, I've moved you to Game Issues.
