Just made a new game as a test file and it works normally there so what can I do to fix this file that I’ve put so many hours into?

@Ellet2 I took a look at your save game. Before I've only tested the fridge thing without the trait and that I can see happening for both Sims in your save.
As for the extra batch, I can also duplicate that on your save. Weirdly it has a resume <...> on there as if the meal isn't really finished. I have to test that on a new save but that might be a bug.
I feel the speed is also very buggy on your save game. Like the game is changing to paused when I didn't pause but since I usually just fast-forward when testing, I could be mistaken.

Now about your other issue: I have no clue why they are putting the stuff in the fridge right away. There should be enough space. Have you tried other households for that ?
