@1smalllamp I tested that on the Umbrage Manor lot in Willow Creek and my Sim had no issue.

Yup, both my sims. Did try resetting them both but it didn't help, and they have no problems on the new lot so I'm completely bamboozled!
- @1smalllamp Really strange. I just downloaded the lot and replaced the house (Sims already lived there) and had the guy go watch TV
