@eugshdjgvog9wejsounds like you have a complex situation ! 🤨 Is there any chance that the mermaid guy Sofia had a baby with had an Alien or half-Alien parent? Did Sofia actually give birth to the Alien child that should have been a half-Mermaid, or did the Mermaid father also get abducted by Aliens. 🤔
Finally, do you play with any Mods or Custom Content (CC)?🤔
I've played with mixing Alien/Mermaids, Alien/Vampires, and Mermaid/Vampires. These often have shifting appearances due to each supernatural type of Sim having 2 different appearances:
Alien/Disguised Alien
Vampire/Dark Form
Mermaid on Land/Mermaid in Water
When you mix 2 of these types, the game has a hard time figuring out which form it should have. 😃
Also, any Mods or CC can really mess things up too, especially if your Mods or CC are outdated, which can happen after any patch to the game, like we had a week ago. 😞
Uh well thing is, i made a woman then have her have babies with 23 men then killed them after the baby is born. Then i chose 5 best looking babies and turned each into : human, mermaid, vampire, alien and skeleton. Once the babies are adults, i killed the mother and moved the sims into seperate households. I proceed playing each in turns and added Sophia and Bjorn into the family. Sophia being the wife of the alien, human and merman while Bjorn being the husband of the vampire and skeleton.
No the merman's father was a normal human and so was his mother. And yeah Sofia actually gave birth to the alien which shouldve been half mermaid half human. Also i decided to try and get Sophia to have a baby with the father of 2 alien daughters from being abducted, Alden, who somehow became an alien as well! Alden was also the son of the human women and father (he's the merguy's brother). He wasnt an alien until i have him try for baby with Sophia.
Does getting abducted or having babies with an alien make him an alien? I did abduct Sophia once too (through mc command center). I dont use any CC but i do use mc command center and a bunch of other mods, and i keep getting last exception notifications but ive been ignoring it cuz i was sooo lazy to check andd its not really doing anything to my game. Well, besides the fact that its probably turning my sims into weird looking aliens. I guess i'll have to check then 😢

Due to the complexity of your families and gameplay, it is difficult to rule out regular glitches in the game. Mixing Occults can cause some glitches, especially in appearance. But that would be just for the offspring! I have not heard of regular human Sims turning into Aliens for any reason! They are not supposed to do that! 😮😞 So, that makes me suspect that a lot of your problem are due to outdated Mods.
You Mods were probably working fine, but we just had 2 updates to the game in about a month, so a lot has changed in the game, and your Mods might be conflicting with it! 😞 You really need to get in the habit of keeping track with whoever made your Mods to see if and when they release new versions and replace the old versions with the new ones. It's kind of like changing the oil in your car -- you might get away with not doing it for a while, but eventually it will cause problems! 😞
So while I don't think all of the odd things in your game are due to Mods (since you are mixing supernatural Sim types) I do think the parents of the hybrid babies changing into other types of Sims is probably related to outdated Mods. I have experimented with hybrids a lot in my game and have never had the parents change, but then again, I don't use Mods/CC! 😳 (I don't like having to do all the upkeep!) 😃
To test to see if one of your Mods is causing the problem, please do all steps of the following:
1) Move your Mods folder to your Desktop
2) Delete the localthumbcache.package file in the Game Folder
3) Repair your game in Origin by logging into Origin and to to your Library. Right-click on The Sims 4 and choose the option to "Repair Game". Wait until Origin fixes all of your packs and not just the base game.
4) Now when you turn on your game it will create a new, empty mods folder. Check your game to see if the problem is fixed.
5). You can now add your Mods/CC back one at a time checking the game each time to see which one is the culprit. If you have a lot of Mods/CC then you might have to do the 50/50 Method.
6) When you find the culprit(s) you will have to go to the creator's site and get updated versions of these (as soon as they update them) that work with the patched game. You will have to use the new version in place of the broken ones.
It is the responsibility of the Mod/CC creators to update their items when EA updates the game. It is the responsibility of people who use Mods/CC to make sure the Mods/CC they use are up to date! 🤨Mods/CC do require regular upkeep! 😞
Anytime EA releases a patch/update, and your game starts acting strangely soon after that, it is always necessary to do the above steps to determine if the problem is Mods related or if it might be a bug that everyone is experiencing. If a mod is the problem then just get the new version. If a mod isn't the problem, then you can always check the Bug Report section to see if a Bug Report has been filled out on same subject, and if it hasn't , you can fill out a new Bug Report ! 😉
Also,since it seems like you have been playing that family and save game for a long time, there is more chance it can become corrupt. And deleting the localthumbcache.package file (after moving your Mods folder to your desktop) and then fixing your game in Origin should help with that.

Ive tried doing what u asked and it appears it did not change anything, but i guess its alright. I'll still enjoy the game and love my sims even with that weird looking face they have. And besides, its not affecting any other households or causing any other problems. I do agree that its probably me mixing different occults while switching households to households. Oh and i somehow got a blue alien baby now. Oh well, i'll just see where this family goes, thankyou so much for replying and giving me a bunch of solutions though! I really appreciate the help youve given me 😃

I wanted to show you one of my Alien/Vampire hybrids and how glitchy they can be...
Alien/Vampire girl , bottom form in CAS portrait (which would be Alien Form for Aliens or Light Form for Vampires):
Same girl, but top portrait (Which would be Disguised Form for Aliens and Dark Form for Vampires):
Notice the black Vampire smoke when she changes forms or outfits. Also the weird stretching animation. This is just one example of the game glitching with hybrids. Hybrids really aren't supposed to be in the game. This is why they don't work very well. Often when you change their appearance or clothing in CAS, it doesn't stick. On the other hand, it is impossible to try to turn one of these supernatural Sims into a Spellcaster with Realm of Magic. The Sim (be they Mermaid, Vampire, etc, ) just can't complete the mote collecting task to become a Spellcaster. The option to turn the motes in never shows up if your Sim is an occult. 🤨
