@xalexh77 Is this an issue for your Sims in other households? Is the issue present if you begin a new game save and move her into a home there? When did the issue just begin or has it always been there? Do you use Mods/CC?
If the issue is there for other Sims and in a new game save you can try:
A game repair:
• Open Origin, click ‘Game Library’ then right-click Sims 4 > Repair Game
• If you’re on PC, make sure to let it run until it has completed all repairs (it will do the base game first, then run through each of your DLCs (Expansion Packs, Game Packs and Stuff Packs).
• If you’re on Mac, the repair in Origin will only repair your base game. Learn why and how to repair your DLCs (Expansion Packs, Game Packs and Stuff Packs) at this link: https://bluebellflora.com/2020/06/17/repairing-sims-4-packs-in-origin/
Test without Mods/CC and by removing the cache file:
Please move your Mods folder from your "The Sims 4" folder [Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4] to your desktop (save it for reference) and delete the localthumbcache.package file in your “The Sims 4” folder. Then check in a new game save to see if this issue is still occurring. If the issue is gone, please re-add the Mods/CC one at a time until you find the one causing the issue. If you have a lot of Mods/CC you can try the 50/50 Method.
Or should I try to do this as well to ensure it's functioning at full capacity? Please advise.
Also - on the link you provided me called bluebellflora.com with repairing the sims 4 packs in origin
on the Mac it says to go to "user applications folder, users>user>applications" unfortunately there are no such folders available for me to pull this up.
When I found the sims4 folder there also was no "EP09" or Eco Lifestyle Folder - therefore should I assume I took he correct steps to complete this properly?

@xalexh77 If you do not own any other packs you will nave no other packs to update. The path to finding folder where the game is installed and the one where your player information is saved (your tray folder, saves, etc.) are two different things, and they are installed in two different locations on your computer.
For instance, the way my folder is found for me on my Mac:
Go > Home > Sheri > Applications and that is where I see the game install... mine looks like this:...and if you owned additional packs you would have a folder that says "The Sims 4 Packs" there. If you have no packs just repair the game in Origin as follows:
Open Origin, click ‘Game Library’ then right-click Sims 4 > Repair GameJust for clarification, if you were looking for the game folder with your game saves, tray folder, etc., it is located at:
Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4Mine looks like this:
