Sim places from Gallery with high money amount

My Sim, which I saved while part of a household with a large amount of money, consistently spawns in new saves with that same high amount of funds. I’m very attached to this Sim and would prefer not ...

Could you please provide the following information

  • Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do. Please pick a thread tag for that.
  • What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox). Please pick a thread tag for that.
  • Do you have the Sim in the gallery ? If so, what's the name ?
  • To be sure, you just uploaded that Sim and not the whole household ?
  • Have you tried to split him into a new household from the household manager, give them the amount of money you want and then re-upload ?

Thank you for your response. A friend was able to determine that the Sim had become corrupted, likely due to being saved with mods immediately after the update. To resolve the issue, I recreated the character by replicating his genetics on an unrelated Sim outside of his original household.
