Sims 4 - No training menu for my pets

Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.74.59.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Expansion Packs: Discover University, Island Living, Seasons, Cats and Dogs, City Living, Get To Work, Get Together. Game Packs: Parenthood, Vampire, Dine Out. Stuff Packs: Laundry Day.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I have my family on the gallery so you can play my family then, click on the cat or dog and you will see that there is no train menu.
What happens when the bug occurs? There is no train meu for either of my animals.
What do you expect to see? I should expect to see
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I had just installed Cats and Dogs, went onto the game, made a family with one woman, one cat, one dog and imported a house from the gallery, I changed the interior and added some windows. I expect to see the training menu for both my pets but neither of them have it.

I've tried repairing the game, disabled mods and custom content but nothing has worked. I've also made a new game save with the same family still hasn't worked. I've also tried adopting a new pet but that still didn't work fully as only heal showed up.

Yes it’s because i realised you can’t train puppies🤣🤣 i’m so stupid

Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files and make a backup.

After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)

Tray Folder

Screenshots/Videos/Custom music

Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)

Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....

ConfigOverride, if you have your own configuration files.

Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

I'm sorry for responding so late but this method has not worked do you know any other solutions.

I don’t think you can train cats (other than to lecture them when they do something wrong) but dogs you should be able to. How old is your dog? If it’s still a puppy it may be too young (again, other than to lecture about misbehaving or instruct them to go potty after calling them outside.)
Lecturing about misbehavior and asking to go potty aren’t in the training menu, so this doesn’t show on cats or puppies (at least it never has for me).
