sims 4 camera drops to ground level

Something that is INCREDIBLY frustrating to me is when I am trying to place something in an upper level room that's on an outside wall and I need a particular position to place it -- example -- a bath which is small so I need walls up because, I don't need a toilet paper holder to be above door level. As soon as I pull back a little the camera drops down to ground level. Is there any way to stop it from doing that? Because it doesn't make any sense - in my mind - that it would do that to begin with. The camera view should stay where you place it - or is that just me?

  • @DarkDjinn53 Yes... placing the TP on the wall correctly in a tiny bathroom is a bit of a nightmare. Sometimes I resort to moving from Sims 4 camera to Sims 3 camera back and forth and checking with Sims 3 camera (some tips for how I maneuver this) but yes, it sounds like the normal experience, unfortunately. No, it's not just you.  ☹️

Yeah, it can be irritating but is part of the game. I find using the Sims 3 camera easier and if you angle it just right you shouldn't drop down to the lower floor so easily.
