Sims 4 cc wont show up

Okay so, for a few months now I been trying to find out how to fix my CC problem in TS4. The boxes in game options are enabled. But when I go into CAS I only have the option to select "purchased"  and "unlockable" And, there should be a box that should say "Custom Content" but it is gone completely. I even reinstalled the game multiple times and tried many things and nothing happened. Now my CAS only says "Purchased" for content. Please help!  Edit: basically the custom content isn't showing up and the filter for custom content is gone.

    Have you checked that your Mods folder is present in the correct location, with the appropriate CC?

    Yes, the cc is in the mods folder in the Electronics Art document folder.

    How deep did you put the CC in. You cannot go past two folders deep. preferably just one level or the game will not find the CC.

    Also you may want to delete the Localthumbnailcache as well.  Any time you take in or out CC or mods you should do this and make sure you are not doing all this with Sims running.

    In the mod folder... you have your mods.. then you can have another folder inside a mod folder like I have mine.

    Example

    Inside the mod folder you can put folders(level one) and name them, couches, chairs, hair etc.. but do not put another folder inside those folders you create then that would be the second level of folders in the mod folder. The game will not find them..
