Sims 4 CC/MODS help on MAC

So I been researching forums and can’t really seem to get an answer, I’m downloading mods from curse forge and the sims resources and all mods I try downloading show up in the search bar in game, but not as an item for me to physically select. I’ve tried a bunch of different trouble shooting and can’t figure it out, any ideas? I attached a picture to kinda show what I mean
