sims 4 how do you apply vampire points

@hummie12 when you select which vampire powers you want, do you click to tick to save and close that pop-up window (bottom right), or the cross to cancel and close the pop-up window (top right)?

@Thats_Me_Madz I click the powers I want , point level goes down, when I close out the points are back and no powers. I know I'm missing something obvious.

@hummie12 Are you closing out of that screen using the tick button?
