Sims 4 id cheat "sim not found"

I keep getting hit with the "sims not found" message when trying to retrieve my sims id number. I have cheats enabled, no one has the same name, there are no apostrophes. I was just using this cheat with a different family the other day but now I cant get anyone to come up
